Growing up I didn’t have a normal childhood like other kids I never had a family. My parents died when I was still a baby living me all alone. I was taken to an orphanage and I was treated poorly and was forced to go to work when I was 6. My name is Bronny James Jr named after my father Lebron James Senior and my mother's name is Savannah James. In the orphanage, I only had two friends Steph Curry and James Harden, they were put in the same workplace as me so we became close over the years. Our job was to clean the chimney even though it was dangerous they still let us do it. As time passed we grew too big for the chimney and we were looking to escape this country because of our poor living conditions, pollution, diseases, exploitation and we didn’t even get paid for our work. We heard the adults talking about a country where people have been going because of its living conditions, not much pollution, less risk of getting any diseases and we even get paid. So we decided to leave England and go to New Zealand for a better chance at life. Even though it wasn’t right we stole some money from the people who forced us to work so we can pay for our boat fair on the ship.

We still had some money and bought the food that was sold on board. Even though the food was disgusting at least we didn’t starve. We asked the captain and the crew if we can do some jobs around the boat in exchange for some food and they said yes. We were asked to clean the deck and toilets and after they gave us some food from the kitchen of the cabin. The next few days went very bad because we all got sick, we got sick because of the flu that's going around on the boat. Luckily the captain was generous enough and told us that we can get free treatment on board because of our hard work around the ship. For the first time, we actually thought we were very happy with what we got to do because of the kindness shown by the captain and his crew. The weather was very bad and in stormy nights we were really cold and had no blankets to keep us warm. Usually, at night we used to play around the ship to keep us warm and then go to sleep, but because of the rain, we couldn’t play outside. Before we knew it we were there we were finally free, good news still came because the captain gave us a very big help. He told us he had a friend that was a carpenter and was offering up an apprenticeship. He told us to work for the carpenter and we gladly agreed. He gave us an envelope. We thanked the captain for all his generosity and we were on our way to New Zealand.

Arriving in New Zealand felt exciting and at the same moment weird. So we opened up the envelope and saw money inside and the address of the carpenter. So they asked for directions all over and found the carpenters home. We told him who sent us and he told us we could live in his garage. At first, we were kind of nervous meeting a Maori man but he was actually funny and nice to us. We went to town to explore, experience the town for the first time. Some people told us we didn’t belong in New Zealand and some were very welcoming. The carpenter taught us how to use to the tools and was very instructive, during work he was always strict with us and told us how to do things right. We thought we actually belonged in the world for once because of the opportunities the carpenter has been giving us. We went to school interacted with other kids. We made lots of New Friends. The carpenter adopted us. We were the kids with funny accents and overtime we got used to New Zealand. Weeks turned to Months and Months turned to years since we left England. We have been in New Zealand for five years now and I am eighteen years old. Coming to New Zealand has given happiness to my life and my friends its a country worth living in because it gave me a brighter future. Years passed me and my friends worked in an engineering wood company, so our life turned out pretty well because of the choice we made of coming to New Zealand.

Manufacture Of A Metal Drill Gauge

This is my Drill Gauge & this is a commercial 1

Ruler

A ruler sometimes called a rule or line gauge, is a device used in geometry and technical drawing, as well as the engineering and construction industries, to measure or draw straight lines. I use the rule to measure the height of my Drill Gauge.

Scriber and engineering Square

An engineer's square is a tool used in metalworking and woodworking. It is. very similar to a try square in appearance and use, and is mainly used to check a work-piece is 'square', (that is, two sides are at 90 degrees to one another)scriber is a hand tool used in metalworking to mark lines on work-pieces, prior to machining. I use the engineering square to line my work and then use the scriber to mark the lines.

Hacksaw

A hacksaw is a fine-toothed saw, originally and mainly made for cutting metal. Most hacksaws are hand saws with a C-shaped frame that holds a blade under tension.
                             Emery Cloth

Emery cloth is a type of coated abrasive that has emery glued to a cloth backing. It is used for hand metalworking. I use emery cloth to sand my work

                                Vice

a holding device attached to a workbench; has two jaws to hold the workpiece firmly in place. vise. holding device - a device for holding something. jaw - holding device consisting of one or both of the opposing parts of a tool that close to hold an object. I use the vice to hold my drill gauge while I sand my work.

                                  File

Any type of hand file or the flat file can be used to put a bevel on the edge of a piece of metal. They can also be used to round corners and create convex surfaces. I take the emery cloth and wrap it around the file for a better grip and then file my work.
                       Vernier Caliper

The Vernier Caliper is a precision instrument that can be used to measure internal and external distances extremely accurately. I used the vernier to measure how long my work was
Ball Peen Hammer  & Center Punch

A ball-peen hammer, also known as a machinist's hammer, is a type of peen-ing hammer used in metalworkingA tool consisting of a metal rod with a conical point for making an indentation, to allow a drill to make a hole at the same spot without slipping. I use the ball peen hammer and hammer down the center punch to mark the interior of my work.

Micrometer Screw Gauge

A micrometer, sometimes known as a micrometer screw gauge, is a device incorporating a calibrated screw widely used for accurate measurement of components in mechanical engineering and machining as well as most mechanical trades. I used the micrometer to measure the drill bits accurately.

                      Drill Press

Drill press also called Drilling Machine, a device for producing holes in hard substances. The drill is held in a rotating spindle and is fed into the work-piece, which is usually clamped in a vice resting on a table. I use the drill press to drill the holes in my work.

                  Number Punch

Number punch sets include full 10 digits 0-9, to ensure even wear across the set, rather than repeating the use of 6 and 9.I use the Number punch to number my drilled holes.
