English Essay

A character who changed in Zootopia is Nick. An important idea in Zootopia is to not be deceived by looks and stereotypes aren’t always right.. A challenging setting in Zootopia is the rainforest scene Nick and Judy struggled to catch the panther.Nick changed from not trusting to trusting again. This idea/setting was explored when Nick saw Judy being treated poorly by her fellow police officers.Nick changed because Judy gave him hope that there is still some people you can trust.

Nick begun as a sneaky and conniving fox.  The idea of Nick being a conniving fox was when he deceived Judy when they first met. This is because of how prey treated him when he was just a kid they didn’t trust him so they put a muzzle on his mouth making him feel different and alone.Nick said “i don’t let the know they got to me”We are shown a Shot of this on Nick's flashback. We hear them saying that they don’t trust predators. We see this being an emotional moment in Nick’s life.I think we shouldn’t judge each other by stereotypes. The director wanted us to understand to not judge a book by it’s cover. This helps the audience to realize to not judge people with  stereotypes. This makes the audience believe stereotypes aren’t always true.

Nick in the middle of the film started to change and became a better person.(Scene)was where Nick really started to help Judy this(idea) was also important because we saw that people could change for the better. This is because of Judy and how she pushed him to become a better person.Nick said “If the world is going to see a fox as shifty and untrustworthy there is no point in trying to be anything else”We are shown a Shot of this when they were riding on a lift.We hear this when Nick tells Judy something personal about him.We see them really connect for the first time.I think it is important not to tell someone they’re nothing so they don’t try their best. The director wanted us to understand not everything people say about us are true. This helps the audience to realize they are something more. This makes the audience believe you can do anything.

Nick at the end of the film became a police officer.Another scene where Nick  was shown was when he showed the other police officers his police officer sticker. This is because of how Judy convinced him he can be a police officer. Nick said “Ha you should have your own line of inspirational greeting sir.”We are shown a Shot of this at the near end of the film. We hear Nick talk back to Chief Bogo.We see them all getting along.I think the ending scene was great because they all treated each other equally. The director wanted us to understand at the end of the day people solve their problems and get along with each other. This helps the audience to realize everything is going to be okay. This makes the audience believe at the end of the day we are just people.

To conclude you should not be deceived by appearances and and stereotypes aren’t always right.
