How to build an egg parachute using household items (Science)

Aim:To prevent the egg from cracking  when dropped from above .

Equipment:

  • Tape 
  • Glue
  • Cartons
  • String
  • Decorations
  • Cotton balls
  • Plastic bag
  • Pencil 
  • Ruler
  • Scissors
  • & Egg
Method:
  1. Measure the cartons using a ruler and pencil and cut it out using scissors and make a square shaped box.
  2. Now get the glue and glue the cotton balls inside the box. (to let the egg have a soft landing inside and not to crack.
  3. Make four (4) small holes on every side of the box so the string can be attached to the plastic thus making the parachute.
  4. Make a hole on the top of the box so you can put the egg in.
  5. Put your own kind of decorations on the parachute.
  6. Finally go up to a higher place and test it out.

Conclusion: The cotton balls and box protected the egg from cracking this is a way to win a egg drop challenge.
