Diary Of Anne Frank - Introduction To Connections

  • How does viewing this text through a child’s perspective change the way we experience it? Explain using an example from the text? It's more lighthearted and innocent , whereas from an adults perspective it would be dark throughout the whole text.

  • How would this text be different if it were told from the perspective of an adult? How would the audience’s experience be different? Adults are way more experienced, and are less gullible then kids. They are also more aware in the world.

  • Why did the filmmaker or author decide to tell this story from a child’s perspective? They are open minded. Seeing things from a different perspective. Like it shows her feelings and perspective more.

  • How are children represented in the text? How are adults represented in the text? Children are exposed to more mature stuff in the text, which is ironic considering they should have lived innocent and normal lives. They are gullible and naïve. Adults are way more serious and cautious.

  • Does imagination help the young hero to cope? How so? Provide an example. Yes it

  • Does this text connect in any other ways to the other texts you have read/viewed? How so? Provide evidence and explain.
